09 — Legacy
The closing assessment: Tikhon as founder of the Russian teacher-bishop lineage completed by St. Ignatius Brianchaninov and St. Theophan the Recluse; the creator of Russian-language spiritual writing for the people; the saint of the poor and of the afflicted; and a sober separation of what is settled in his legacy from what remains debated — the Western question and the Dostoevsky proportions — with the thin places in the sources named.
The first file draws the triad comparison with the two nineteenth-century teacher-bishops, pattern and differences alike; the second gives the overall assessment from within the Church, per §4.1, with the open questions left open.
