03 — The Convent of Cuteclara
Laura’s house and the world of Mozarabic women’s monasticism. The convent of Santa María de Cuteclara is the firmest anchor in the whole Laura dossier: a contemporary source, St. Eulogius, attests it through the nun Aurea (martyred 856). The house is historical; the abbess is traditional — a distinction these files keep throughout.
