The Sacramental Life
The gathering of the whole: the mysteries not as seven isolated rites but as one sacramental economy by which the Church carries human persons into the life of God — the means of deification — and a sober synthesis of the tradition and its East–West divergences.
Tradition: Pan-Orthodox
This closing section draws the collection together. The first file, the-mysteries-and-theosis.md, presents the whole sacramental economy as the means of deification, the process by which, in the mysteries, human persons become “partakers of the divine nature,” and links Theosis. The second file, the-mysteries-across-the-tradition.md, synthesizes the whole, names the East–West sacramental divergences soberly in one place, and offers an assessment of what the Orthodox understanding of the mysteries holds and guards.
