09 — Legacy
What Simeon founded outlived every Serbian state. This closing section treats the holy Nemanjić dynasty that grew from him — the ruling house that was also a line of saints — the founding pair of Serbian Orthodoxy he forms with his son St. Sava, and the living veneration of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher today, at Studenica, at Hilandar, and wherever the Serbian Church has spread.
