Section 08 — Glorification and Veneration
After a three-year study by a joint OCA–Antiochian commission, St. Raphael was glorified in 2000 — the decision taken at the Holy Synod’s spring session in March and the rite celebrated at St. Tikhon’s Monastery on 28–29 May. His relics rest at the Antiochian Village in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, and he is venerated across the North American jurisdictions, with feasts on 27 February and (in the Antiochian tradition) the first Saturday of November.
Tradition: Antiochian Orthodox (Arab-American diaspora); glorified by the Orthodox Church in America
