06 — The Faith of Patrick
What Patrick actually believed, as distinct from what he is remembered for. The first file reads the theology of the Confessio: an intensely Trinitarian, thoroughly biblical faith, including a near-creedal confession of the Triune God. The second handles the most famous “theological” text associated with him — the “Breastplate” or Lorica — and shows, per METHODOLOGY §4, why its much later date and disputed attribution mean it cannot be read as Patrick’s own theology.
