04 — Frequent Communion
The eucharistic heart of the Kollyvades renewal: the treatise Concerning Frequent Communion of the Divine Mysteries (1783), composed within the Kollyvades circle and carried under Nicodemus’s name in its revised form, which argued for the recovery of the ancient practice of frequent, even continual, reception of the Holy Mysteries — and the fierce controversy this ignited.
