The modern rediscovery of Isaac: Sebastian Brock’s identification in 1983 of a complete copy of the long-lost “Second Part” in an Oxford manuscript, and the publication of the “Third Part” by Sabino Chialà in 2011 — corpora the Byzantine tradition never received, containing both Isaac’s deepest reflection and his most controversial chapters.
