The Church’s recognition and the modern study of St. Innocent: his glorification in 1977 on the petition of the Orthodox Church in America, his titles and feast days; and the scholarship — Garrett, Oleksa, Black, Gibson, Fortuine — through which his life and the Alaska mission are now known.
